Ivan Inverardi

Born in Shanghai, he graduated from the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Kiev, Ukraine and the Florence Conservatory where he studied with maestros Zhang Renqing, Donatella Debolini and Bruno de Simone. In 2015 he won the special prize at the "Riccardo Zandonai" competition in Rovereto and was admitted to the "Accademia del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino" in Florence. In 2016, he won the first absolute prize at the "Ferruccio Tagliavini" International Opera Competition in Austria which led him to debut at the Oper Graz, acclaimed by the Austrian media who praised "the voice of the world from the East, the new lyric star of the future". In the same year, he won the second prize at the "Salice D'Oro" International Opera Singing Competition. In 2017 he won the special prize at the "Toti Dal Monte" International Competition and in the same year he received the first prize at the "Angelo Lo Forese" International Competition.

During his time at the "Accademia del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino", he participated as a soloist in the operas "Hansel and Gretel" (The Father); "The Italian in Algiers" (Taddeo); "The School of the Jealous" (Snail); "La Traviata" (Marchese d'Obigny), on tour in the theaters: Goldoni in Florence, Salieri in Legnago, Teatro Marrucino in Chieti, Teatro Ristori in Verona, Teatro Comunale in Belluno, Teatro Pergolesi Spontini in Jesi, in addition to concerts at the International Music Festival in Tunis and in a tournée, in China, of "Don Carlo" (Flemish Deputy) under the direction of Maestro Zubin Mehta in the theaters of Guangzhou, Macao, Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai.

Other productions follow, such as "Gianni Schicchi" (Marco) at the Suzhou Culture and Art Center of China, at the Jiangsu Grand Theater and at the Shanghai Concert Hall; "The Barber of Seville" (Figaro) and "The Italian in Algiers" (Taddeo) at the Royal Opera House in Muscat in Oman; "The Barber of Seville" (Figaro) at the Teatro dell'Opera in Piacenza and at the Paphos Festival in Cyprus; "Carmen" (Escamillo) at the Teatro dell'Opera in Florence and at the Teatro dell'Opera in Novara; "L'Elisir d’Amore" (Belcore); "Cavalleria Rusticana" (Alfio) at the Shanghai Opera House and at the Suzhou Art Center; Carmine Burana (baritone) at the Teatro delle Muse in Ancona; "Beethoven's Ninth Symphony" at the Shanghai Opera House and in Paris, these concerts conducted by Maestro Fabio Luisi. He has collaborated with conductors such as Fabrizio Carminati, John Axelrod, Sebastiano Rolli, Ryan McAdams and others. He has recently finished the production of Marcello in "Boheme" and Ping in "Turandot" at the Teatro Comunale in Florence under the direction of Maestro Zubin Mehta
